Groundwater Treatment
BlazeTech staff conducted feasibility study for the remediation of
groundwater contaminated with chlorinated hydrocarbons for a site in Hartford, CT. At the end of the study the construction of a wetland was suggested for bioremediation and a detailed design for implementation was provided.
Air pollution control
For a number of petrochemical companies in the US, the North Sea, and the Middle East, BlazeTech modeled the accidental releases of chemicals from oil and gas operations such as liquid spills, atmospheric dispersion,
explosions, and fires including vapor fires, pool/dike/trench fires and fireballs.
Odor Control
Reducing of odors from manholes was investigated. An innovative system was suggested for use in waste water pumping stations. The system involved stripping of Hydrogen sulfide from the wastewater gases with
liquid hypo-chloride.
